When I first saw this dress, I had a very strong feeling:
“You need to do these couture dresses for these girls.”
I took a leap of faith.
And off I went.
This was one of the very first couture dresses I found for my studio—and looking at this image, I can still remember the excitement of realizing that I was beginning something completely different.
There is just something special about the dresses I find and carefully secure for my couture portrait sessions. They aren't simply beautiful dresses. They become part of the experience… part of the story… and, sometimes, part of a little girl's memory of who she was.
So yes, I'm selling some of my dresses.
And I'll admit, it's a little bittersweet.
But keeping my couture wardrobe fresh and exciting for my clients means that sometimes I have to let some of the beautiful beginnings go.
But is anything special anymore?
Oh, you bet it is.
Ask any young lady who has worn one of these dresses for a portrait session.
And ask her mom and dad.
You just can't imagine. ❤️
This dress helped me take that first leap of faith.
And for that, it will always hold a very special place in my heart.
