Mother's Day Memory

My Mothers Day Memory

There are photographs that do more than capture a moment.
They hold an entire lifetime inside them.

Tomorrow, my heart will be especially full as I think about my son and all the joy he has brought into my life. Looking at this portrait, it is almost impossible to believe that 35 years have passed since this moment. In so many ways, it still feels like yesterday — the tiny fingers, the quiet closeness, the overwhelming love only a mother understands.

Time moves so quickly. Far more quickly than we ever imagine when we are holding our babies in our arms.

And yet, the beautiful thing about portraits is that they allow us to return for just a moment. To remember not only how life looked, but how it felt.

I will forever be grateful for the blessings, the memories, and the journey we have shared together. ❤️
