Another unforgettable experience was photographing a young woman who, over time, became one of my dearest friends. When I first captured her portrait, neither of us could have imagined the close bond we would develop in the years that followed. Looking back at those images, taken more than a decade ago, I am so grateful we took the time to preserve that moment in her life.
