Who is Cathy Benton? Well, she is a wife , a mother and a friend. She is a people observer and she loves to talk to people about their lives and their dreams – anything they are willing to share.
She’s a good listener and she loves to share simple wisdoms that she has learned over the years. Cathy has the ability to “tune in” to the people she photographs and find what makes them “them” .
On a great day she will tell you stories about her sons childhood and his early adulthood, family, funny moments and even some tragic lessons she has encountered over the years. Stories moms can relate to. Life’s experiences which often reflect how we see the world around us and certainly influence the way Cathy will photograph you.
Whether photographing a newborn baby, less than 10 days old, or a 96 year old grandmother, Cathy finds something innately interesting about them all
You can not accuse her of being old fashioned. She is a romantic and loves what is timeless and true. Cathy loves life and wants to capture what is important to you – your life, your children, your family- through photography.
