A touching story…
Recently, a grandmother visited me at the studio for a very special session request.
Grandma came in to talk to us about having some pictures made of her little granddaughter. This was going to be very difficult for Grandma.
You see, she had the pleasure of being little Taylor Anne’s caretaker from the day she was born. Not every grandmother gets this privilege and she was happy to have done so. However, Little Taylor Anne would very soon move away – to far away to visit often and Grandma was very sad about it.
She wanted to have something special created of Taylor Anne so she could display it in her home and look at it everyday – remembering this special time she had spent with her granddaughter. We also had only one day and time that Grandma could bring her to us before they moved away.
She was amazed at the patience we had with her little one. The results left this grandmother crying with tears of joy.
It is days like this that remind me exactly why I choose to be a portrait photographer of children’s pictures.

Beautiful sky for senior session
Sometimes we get luck with the most beautiful environment to work in. This would certainly explain why outdoor senior sessions in the fall are so popular. No only do we get lucky with colorful leaves in the trees but we also get the most awesome skies you have ever seen.
Sydney was a joy to work with. She even brought her friend Lauren for the outdoor session. We had a blast.
You just want stop for a minute to take in all the beauty of this image – the sky and the young lady – now a high school senior.
