Take off your Mommy Goggles!

There is a trend in the photography industry today that may mean trouble for some and success for others.

While we (photographers) all got into this field because we love to take pictures, there is so much more to having a successful business and becoming a really good photographer than just buying a decent little DSLR camera and getting your business license.

As a client, wouldn’t you rather develop a relationship with your photographer – someone who you can share what is important to you and what you see in your family that is important to you – than to have to try to reconnect every time you want a portrait made?

It takes a lot of training and hard work to really make a successful business out of photography. I’m on many facebook groups for photographers and I offer coaching for small business owners because I believe it is my duty as a seasoned professional, to reach out and help those who want it.

My goal has always been to develop loyal clients that I could give my all to through the creative process of photography. One of my favorite expressions is “I expect it”. Having a high expectation of what we are able to deliver to the client is what sets us apart from many studios. We push ourselves to continue to learn new ways of doing things, to always be developing new products for our clients and above all setting high standards for our employees and providing exceptional customer service e is the backbone of our success.
