January is Coming

January is literally just a few days away and as we all recover from the Christmas hustle and bustle we begin to think about what we can do next year that will make our lives better, and perhaps others around us.

It is also a time when we rest- just a little more than before. The cold weather slows us down just a little and you know that may not be a bad thing either.

Here at the studio we spend January and February and often March attending conventions and workshops learning new ideas our clients. 2011 will be no different except we’ll be instructors at a wonderful and exciting new teaching/learning opportunity in April.

It’s going to be very different than many of the other workshops we’ve attended in the past. It will be very high energy with openly sharing of ideas, techniques and creativity among other photographers that attend. It will be very hands on and that is how I think most people learn the best.

I also know I’ll learn so much from those attending because as you teach – you learn.

So everyone rest now and be ready for all the exciting new things life will bring your way in 2011.
